The WIAA Foundation is proud to grant Darlington High School a $500 donation. This contribution will support the school’s officiating class by helping provide shirts, whistles, and equipment, and covering local officials' association fees. These resources will give students the tools and support they need to get started and develop their officiating skills. 💙

It's a new school year, so WE'RE BACK with another season of the School District of Janesville's "KNOW THE DISTRICT" campaign!

And this year, we're kicking things off with a well-known name throughout the city and district -- CHRIS NICHOLSON!

Here, Chris -- the administrative assistant for SDJ athletics and the district's facilities use coordinator -- talks about what he's most afraid of, shares a mistake that taught him a valuable lesson and explains what goes into rescheduling an event-heavy sports night when winter weather turns bad!

The School District of Janesville is fortunate to have outstanding employees who make a huge difference in the lives of our students, whether it be as teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, food service workers, custodians, coaches and more! But with nearly 1,500 employees, getting to know each one would be almost impossible.

In an effort to familiarize you with at least a few, we offer this ongoing series of interview features. New interviews will be posted to the district website every other Wednesday during the school year.
