Tennessee Board of Dentistry meeting is Thursday, October 8th, 2026 starting at 9am. Address: 665 Mainstream Drive, Nashville, TN 37243. The meeting will be conducted in the Iris Room.
You will come into the front of the building and sign in at the front desk. After signing in, the room is located directly on your left where you will pass through security. When you enter the room you will be asked to sign in one more time at the table to your left.
You will find me there sitting next to one of our lobbyist.
You are welcome to wear something identifying your role within dentistry or business casual. No signs, please.

October is National Dental Hygiene Month! 💜🦷

TNDHA proudly celebrates dental hygienists across Tennessee and the important role they play in prevention, education, advocacy, and improving oral and overall health.

Every day, dental hygienists combine science, skill, compassion, and patient education to make a lasting difference in the communities they serve.

This month, we recognize our profession, celebrate one another, and continue working together to advance dental hygiene in Tennessee.

WOW! What a day this past Friday was. The conference was held by Memphis Dental Hygiene Association and West Tn Dental Hygiene Association in Jackson, TN. Almost 80 dental professionals were present, along with several speakers and representatives from different companies.

There were:
Cynthia Johnson with Haleon bought breakfast
Jennifer Ramthun & Linda Simon with Parkell provided lunch
Jason Crawford w/NDI provided samples and bags for attendees & several instruments for giveaways
Angie Franceschini with Align gave a tutorial on ITero
New Dental Rep: Marcus Simmons with Kuraray America gave samples
Alicia Kent, RDH w/Brain Health
Carmen Pinkston -HYPAC
Alicia Walker- RDH, BSDH, FADHA - featured her Podcast “Scaling the Truth”
Eric Gould - TNDHA Director managed signing up for the class, signing in, etc, and etc. Eric does anything and everything that needs done
Beth - sold TNDHA Merchandise
Thank you to all!

Ms Lori Higgins was with us, as she always is. She received an award for all of her years of a multitude of hours, phone calls, arranging locations, dates, speakers, and she never forgets door prizes. Lori, you will be missed.

The speakers were great and were very informative. Thank you to each of you!

A huge “THANK YOU “ to everyone who came, wether it’s a representative, or an attendee, we want you to know, “ We appreciate each and every person that made Friday a success.

I hope all hygienist went to work Monday and hung their licensee AND their diplomas in their operatory.
Show everyone that your education matters while educating your patients of why there is a need to see a hygienist with an actual education

We hope to see everyone back for our WTNDHA spring meeting in Jackson. We will post a date soon

hosted by Memphis DH & WEST TNDHA.
