We teach employment skills to individuals with unique employment needs in order to enhance vocational independence. Jobs4U, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit serving disabled Veterans in Okaloosa County, Florida. Jobs4U takes the existing skills and knowledge an individual already has and teaches them how to be successful in the workforce, with their acquired disability. We believe that no matter ability or age everyone deserves to be a productive member of their community. Jobs4U has also opened a gift store, Jobs4U Boutique, and we use this venue as our training grounds. Interns, based on skills and interests, will be trained in retail, sales, refinishing, refurbishing, trash to treasure, marketing, social media, learning to be self-employed, as well as other important tools to promote community integration. Jobs4U offers classes for the community in sewing, and crafting as well. All money made from sales at the Gift Shop and from classes will be put back into the program to help pay for materials, tools and other items our interns will be using.
