What a weekend for our new CenCal Select team! 🔥⚾️

Saturday didn’t go our way, but these boys came back Sunday ready to battle. They fought hard, played together and earned their way to the championship game finishing the tournament in second place! 🥈

We couldn’t be prouder of their resilience, effort and determination. They never gave up, and that is exactly what CenCal Select is all about.

Congratulations, boys! This is only the beginning. 🔥💪

CenCal Select is an invite-only tournament team for skilled players looking for additional opportunities to compete.

Players can join us on weekends when their regular team is off or whenever they’re available. Tournament rosters will rotate based on availability, so there is no ongoing commitment and no practices.

The program is fully funded—there are no tournament fees, and each player’s jersey and hat are provided.

CenCal Athletics is proud to announce Derek Leytem as our new Director of Baseball Operations.

As we continue building the future of our program, it was important for us to bring in someone we fully trust. Someone who shares the same morals, values, believes in developing kids the right way, and truly understands our mission.

Derek has been part of our journey since 2018. Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand his passion for the game, his commitment to player development, and the character he brings both on and off the field.

This program has always been bigger than baseball. It’s about building confident athletes, strong character, and a culture families can believe in. We’re excited for this next chapter and confident that with Derek’s leadership, passion, and vision alongside ours, we’re going to continue building something special.

Welcome to the next era of CenCal Athletics ⚾️❤️💙
