AKJA has a program to certify Koi hobbyists from the United States and Canada. Also, many of them are willing to lecture on a wide variety of subjects.

AKJA has a program to certify Koi hobbyists from the United States and Canada to be koi judges. These judges are willing to travel anywhere on the continent to judge your Koi show. Under most circumstances, the judge will provide his/her own transportation to and from his/her home town to your location at their own expense. But, if the trip involves overnight accommodations; it is expected that the club provide, at their expense any such necessary accommodations. Hotel Information for the Greater Louisville Koi & Goldfish Show - Make your reservations now, we have a limited amount of blocked rooms. If you plan to use the Show Hotel, we ask if possible that you use the Block. This will allow the Club to receive credit towards the block so we can continue the use of the hotel in the coming years. Join us this weekend at the Central Florida Koi Show!

This year’s annual training seminar will be held alongside the show, and we have a full weekend of activities planned.

Friday: Educational talks from our candidate and student judges, along with tank-side judging exercises.

Saturday: Our judges will break into teams to judge each size class before coming together to select the champions.

Sunday: Tank-side judge walk-arounds, where we’ll discuss the winning koi and what made them stand out.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!
