We're proud to recognize Blue Star Service Dogs, one of MiAWF's 2026 beneficiaries.

Since 2010, Blue Star Service Dogs has been dedicated to supporting veterans by pairing them with service dogs and providing ongoing training to strengthen the bond between each veteran and their dog. Their mission helps veterans facing invisible wounds find support, greater independence and healing alongside their service dogs. ❤️

Their motto says it perfectly: “Rescuing One to Heal Another.” 🐾

We're proud to support the important work they do for veterans and their service dogs.

Behind MiAWF is a team of people who simply care deeply about helping animals. ❤️🐾

Our volunteers lend their time and talents in so many ways — from events and photography to technology, auctions, social media and more.

It's proof that you don't have to work at a shelter to make a difference for animals.

Whatever your talent may be, there's a way to use it for good. 🐶🐱

Not every cat has an easy path to a traditional forever home. 🐱❤️

That's where organizations like Cat Tail Acres make such a difference.

One of MiAWF's 2026 beneficiaries, Cat Tail Acres provides sanctuary for feral and unwanted cats, giving them a place where they can be safe and cared for.

We're proud to support organizations making sure animals who might otherwise be overlooked still have a chance at a good life. 🐾

Giving the underdogs a second chance. ❤️🐾

We’re proud to support Underdog Rescue Ranch, one of MiAWF’s 2026 beneficiaries!

Underdog Rescue Ranch is a foster-based dog rescue providing a safe haven for homeless, neglected and abused dogs throughout Metro Detroit. Along with protecting and advocating for the dogs in their care, they help educate the community about animal welfare and connect deserving dogs with their second chance at life.

We’re grateful to support organizations like Underdog Rescue Ranch that are making a difference for animals in need. 🐶❤️
