This one... wasn't. 😄
Congratulations to *Baham* our 2026 Roux of the Year! ❤️🏉
If you've spent any time around the Rougaroux, you've crossed paths with Baham. He's at practices, matches, socials, volunteer events, you name it. If something needs to be done, chances are he's already doing it... and hoping nobody notices.
Bam was nominated for Roux of the Month 6 out of the last 7 months, which has to be some kind of record for someone who actively avoids the spotlight.
One nomination perfectly captures who he is:
After a grueling Bronco workout in the pouring rain, one of our new recruits broke their arm. Without hesitation, Bam drove them to the emergency room and stayed there for several hours—cold, soaked, and making sure they were taken care of. No one asked him to. That's simply the kind of teammate he is.
And that's just one example.
Whether he's mentoring new players, jumping in to help wherever needed, hauling equipment, coordinating rides, picking up teammates, or bringing a quiet intensity to the pitch, Baham is always putting the team first.
Most importantly, Baham is the kind of teammate every club hopes to have. He makes new players feel welcome from day one, supports everyone around him, and never asks for recognition.
Well... too bad, Baham.
This one is impossible not to recognize.
