The men in our recovery program recently rolled up their sleeves for a landscaping day, working together to clean up and take care of the property.

From trimming and clearing to putting in the hard work, the guys did a great job making Rescue Mission Alliance look sharp!

Once a month, the men in our recovery program step away from their normal routine to practice Sabbath, a time to slow down, rest, and focus on God.

This month, that meant hitting the trails for a hike, a devotional, and time alone in quiet and prayer.

Every month, The Mount Bible Church serves the families at our shelter. Recently, seven volunteers joined them for dinner, serving green beans, rice, dinner rolls and cookies for dessert. They also spent time together, breaking bread and praying for a teen preparing to leave for college. It was a bittersweet moment, but one filled with excitement for what’s ahead.

We’re incredibly grateful to The Mount Bible Church for their continued support every 4th Wednesday and for the care they show to those we serve.
