For more than 40 years, PATH has worked to end homelessness for individuals, families and communities across California.

PATH's mission is to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. We do this by building affordable housing and providing supportive services throughout California. Since 2013, we've helped more than 7,000 people move off the streets and into their own permanent homes.

Game Night brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and connection to our Bristol Hotel interim housing community in Santa Clara County! 🎉

Thanks to Spark Church, participants enjoyed a delicious meal, fun games, and the chance to win exciting prizes. From bingo to the crowd-favorite Name That Tune, the evening was filled with fun, friendly competition, and community.

Events like these help create a sense of belonging and bring people together in meaningful ways.

Fueling stability, one meal at a time 💙

Thank you to Banc of California for their generous $5,000 gift supporting PATH’s food programs across San Diego.

This support helps strengthen our daily meal service while expanding weekly food distribution across nine affordable housing communities. It also allows us to grow the on-site pantry at our Connections Housing Interim community, ensuring residents with complex health needs have consistent access to meals and snacks.

Beyond our housing sites, non-perishable food is shared by PATH outreach teams with unhoused neighbors across streets, freeways, riverbanks, and encampments, helping build trust and connect people to services.

Because meeting basic needs is where stability begins.

Meet Destiny! 💙 Destiny first connected to PATH’s Evans Lane family interim community after surviving domestic violence and navigating long periods of homelessness while caring for her young son. From the beginning, she partnered closely with her PATH case manager to rebuild stability, gathering documents, accessing supportive services, and overcoming the barriers that often make housing feel out of reach for families.

Through strong coordination with PATH’s community partners, Destiny was matched with a place of her own.

Today, Destiny finally has the safety and stability she has fought so hard for. She is focused on creating a stable home for her son, with a support network that allows them to heal, grow, and thrive.

Welcome home, Destiny.

PATH is proud to partner with the Long Beach City to operate additional interim housing solutions across the city. Providing people with shelter, supportive services, and connections to substance use treatment, as well as physical and mental healthcare, is vital to helping them on their journey toward stability and permanent housing.

Creating spaces where families can feel comfort, connection, and possibility. ❤️

At our Riverside Families Interim community, a once blank wall is now a vibrant mural, bringing moments of joy to families as they move forward on their journey home.

Grateful to work with the Foundation for Hospital Art and Disney VoluntEARS for their time, creativity, and care in bringing this to life.

Collaborations like this, powered by dedicated volunteers, help families feel supported, inspired, and at home.

Keeping people and their pets together. 🐾

Thanks to our partnership with Feeding Pets of the Homeless, PATH Orange County received 30 dog crates to help support participants and their beloved pets.

For many people experiencing homelessness, pets provide companionship, comfort, and emotional support, making it even more important that services are accessible to the whole family, including four-legged family members.

We're grateful to Feeding Pets of the Homeless for helping provide these essential resources and supporting the well-being of both people and pets on their journey toward stability and housing. 🐶🏡

💙 Showing up when it matters most.

A big thank you to Brookfield Properties San Diego for donating cases of shelf-stable snacks to support our recuperative care participants. While PATH provides three meals a day, these snacks help ensure individuals can take medications safely throughout the day.

We're grateful for partners who respond with care and action to make a real difference.

Meet Roman! About a year into a job at a meat-processing factory, Roman was seriously injured in a workplace accident and hospitalized, leaving him with mounting medical bills and ongoing physical therapy needs.

After losing his housing in 2023, he lived in his car and later in a van with a friend, an experience he describes as incredibly difficult. With PATH’s support, he stayed in interim housing for several months before moving into his own place at PATH Villas Hollywood, a supportive housing community for seniors.

Today, he is grateful for the stability and care he has received, sharing, “I love it here, and I love my caseworker.”

A sunny afternoon filled with community, creativity, and connection! 🍦

Students from a local San Diego high school hosted a special ice cream social and gardening event for participants in our supportive and interim housing programs. Participants enjoyed ice cream, decorated flower pots, planted succulents, and spent time together in the rooftop garden. 🌱

Thank you to these incredible students for bringing heart and kindness and for helping spruce up our community space.
