Thank you to the the members who got the fudge made for our fundraiser. We are very grateful to Erika for designing labels, packaging, and making the display; and to the excellent salesmen who worked the Bangor Fair booth!!

Dear HOMDGA Members & Friends,

It is with great sadness that I inform you that the ADGA sanctioned show at the Farmington Fair in Farmington, Maine, hosted by HOMDGA for many years, has been terminated.

As someone who was personally involved in bringing this show back from cancellation several years ago, the first show that I went to when i got back into showing after college, this breaks my heart. However, this is a decision that our board of officers made not with the heart, but with logic and responsibility to our club members.

We cannot in good conscience continue to run this show in a way that fulfills our obligation to our members to run financially sound and safe shows that provide exhibitors with the accommodations they need to comfortably exhibit their animals.

Futurity funds will be refunded to those who entered last year, with our regrets. I would love to see the futurity come back someday, at another venue.

The Oberhasli Breeders of America Specialty Show has been transferred to the Pine Tree Classic. There is still time to enter that show if you haven’t already.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding.

Sincerely,
Kassie Dwyer
HOMDGA President
