It was another cool and breezy New Year's Day at Smith Mountain Lake! Eight skiers participated in our 33rd Annual Polar Bear Ski Day! Special thanks to Ashley Cooper for bringing his boat and driving! And to Tom and Ginger Tanner for hosting this event again!

It was a breezy day, but we got the course ready for the season yesterday! Come ski with us!

Franklin County’s Maddie Peters finished fourth in the Girls 1 division (9 and under) at the 82nd Goode Water Ski National Championships in Bakersfield, California on Aug. 13.
