Congratulations firefighters! Be safe!

South Shore Fire Department Mt. Pleasant, WI welcomed three new firefighters today with the graduation of Isiah Behrens, John Perugini, and Daniel Wallace from the Racine County Joint Fire Training Academy. This academy is a partnership between SSFD, the Racine Fire Department and Caledonia Fire Department. A dozen recruits graduated today. Help us welcome these new probationary firefighters into the region’s emergency response team!

It’s the little things that excite me the most.☺️

Hours posted for a storefront that once existed only in my imagination.

Little by little, piece by piece, my dream candle bar is coming together. There are still things to finish, problems to solve, and plenty of work ahead, but moments like this remind me how far I’ve come.

What was once a vision is slowly becoming a place people can walk into, gather, create, celebrate, and make memories.

Dreams aren’t built overnight. They’re built in the small details, the late nights, the tiny milestones that nobody else notices.

Until one day you realize you’re standing inside them.
