Join us for the 9th Annual Amy and Michael Staples 3v3 Tournament!

DATE: Saturday, December 5th

TIME: 2:30 PM

LOCATION: Stars Center Valley Ranch 211 Cowboys Pkwy Irving, TX. 75063

This year, we are proud to rally around Alex Ljubisic and his family. As always, this tournament is about more than hockey. It's about bringing our community together and making a meaningful difference for a family in need.

SAVE THE DATE! With the continuous support of the Dallas Stars Elite Program, we were able to lock down a date for the 9th annual AMS hockey tournament.

When: Saturday, 12/5
Where: Valley Ranch Stars Center - 211 Cowboys Parkway, Valley Ranch TX. 75063
Time: 3:00pm

As always, our mission at the Amy and Michael Staples Memorial Foundation is to illuminate Amy and Michaels footprints so that others may benefit from the path they forged through their extraordinary bond, courage, and super-human strength.

Last year, our collective efforts supported Sydney Dingfield and his family in their search for a kidney donor. We are incredibly grateful to share that Sydney's family found a donor, his transplant was successful, and he is recovering.

This year, we would like to extend that same spirit of support to local hockey player Alex Ljubisic.

Alex tragically lost his dad last year. Among the countless challenges that come along with losing a parent, the financial resources needed to continue pursuing his love of hockey have become extremely difficult.

In our own humble way, we would like to help.

Through the Amy and Michael Staples Memorial Foundation, we hope to provide Alex with a scholarship that will allow him to stay on the ice, continue playing the game he loves, and keep him moving forward in his hockey journey.

Amy and Michael showed us what it means to face unimaginable challenges with strength, love, and determination. If the footprints they left behind can help make someone's else's path little easier, then their journey continues to have an impact.

The AMS foundation has decided to postpone the annual tournament to a later date in November or December this year. Unfortunately, there is a lack of ice available from the ongoing construction and renovations at most of the rinks in DFW. We will keep you all posted with dates and as always look forward to see everyone again in the near future!

We have an amazing update on Sydney that we have been looking forward to sharing! Sydney was able to find a kidney donor and had a successful transplant surgery on 6/1. He is currently recovering and everything is looking great! We are so proud of everyone involved that made this possible. Our prayers are with Sydney and his family as he continues his road to recovery!

We also wanted to update everyone that with your help and gracious donations, we humbly raised a total of $12,000 to support Sydney during this process. The AMS foundation has decided to match the donation making the final amount donated $25,000. This would not have been possible without your commitment and generosity. We are so thankful for the amazing community of people surrounding us.
