Lake Arts Project Lake Arts Project gives young people an experience immersed in art, teaching them that art is essential in life.

We accomplish this through creative, collaborative performance-based projects. They discover their powerful impact on their community. We’d like to introduce you to The Lake Arts Project, created by Jennifer Miller and Karl von Rabenau. Our mission is to give children and young people an experience immersed in art, teaching them that art is an essential part of life. We accomplish this through cre

ative, collaborative projects. For our first project, we wanted to create an opportunity for young artists to experience how their artwork affects the world around them. The idea of Aurora's Dream asks visual artists from Arrowhead Highschool (Hartland, WI) to freely interpret the dreams Aurora might have dreamed during her 100 year sleep. The next step involves professional dance choreographers from Catey Ott Dance Collective, Milwaukee Ballet and Nomadic Limbs translating the visual art into original works of dance. The result will be a magnificent evening bursting at the seams with innovation and inspiration. We are asking for your support in this exciting endeavor: Aurora’s Dream. We’ve already begun to plan our exciting project….. Please join us in helping to make it an event not to be missed!

One week in. And the work is extraordinary.

We are so grateful to the veterans who have stepped into this space with us, with courage, vulnerability, and an openness that has moved us all.
Watching these stories take shape through movement and expression has been quite an impactful experience for all involved.

Alongside our veteran participants, the dancers of Minnesota Ballet and Minnesota Ballet Academy have brought incredible artistry and heart to this collaboration. Together, this group is creating something truly unforgettable.

Finding Your Voice comes to the stage on Saturday. We cannot wait to share it with you.
