The 22nd Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival will be held Jan. 20-27, 2027, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival is presented annually by Cinema on the Bayou Film Society, a Louisiana non-profit corporation. Cinema on the Bayou Film Society is exempt from Federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and contributions to Cinema on the Bayou Film Socie

ty are deductible under Section 170 of the Code. Board Members of Cinema on the Bayou Film Society include: Pat Mire, Rebecca Hudsmith, Robert Dafford and David Cheramie. The 19th Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival will be held on. Jan. 24-31, 2024

Le festival de films Cinema on the Bayou est heureux d’annoncer que le plus récent long métrage de fiction du cinéaste louisianais primé Pat Mire, Pointe Noire, sera présenté au Cinéma du Musée à Montréal le dimanche 21 juin 2026 à 15 h.

Le film met en vedette Roy Dupuis, Myriam Cyr, Zachary Richard et Michael Bienvenu. Le réalisateur Pat Mire, la coscénariste Rebecca Hudsmith, et monteur Maxime-Claude L’Écuyer, ainsi que les acteurs Roy Dupuis et Michael Bienvenu, seront présents lors de la projection.

La projection est présentée par le Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival, basé à Lafayette, en Louisiane. Fondé par Pat Mire en 2006, le festival met en valeur chaque année des films de langue française et célèbre les liens culturels entre la Louisiane et le Québec.
