About us…
In December 2014, my brother, two sisters and I started talking about how we needed to give back. In a brief discussion, we decided to start a foundation that would give to a different charity each year. It was a great way to get us together a couple more times a year, once to decide which charity or charities to give to, and then again to make the donation in person. An odd set of circumstances followed a few short weeks later. One of the would-be founding members, Paul, passed away of a sudden and massive heart attack. It left us in a state of shock and sadness for quite some time. When we came out of that state, we decided that the foundation still needed to move ahead. A year later, we were recognized by the IRS as an official 501 (c)(3). On August 15, 2015, we held our first event to raise money to support a charity. It was very fitting that this event is a golf tournament, something our beloved brother was very fond of, and will certainly be present for, in our hearts. I am certain you will find it fulfilling to give to those who give, and to those who need.
