⚡️ Lightning Safety Reminder ⚡️

Families, we cannot emphasize enough the importance of lightning safety!

If lightning is detected, play will be suspended and everyone MUST seek shelter immediately. Please follow instructions from league officials and coaches and do not remain on or around the fields during a lightning delay.

We ask all families to take lightning safety seriously. When thunder roars, go indoors. Safety always comes first. ⚾️💙

Parents: Please Verify Your Player’s Jersey Size!

Baseball & Softball families, please log in to SportsEngine and verify the jersey size for each registered player as soon as possible.

A system issue defaulted many registrations to Youth XXSmall, which is not a valid jersey size. Beginning August 17, any registration still showing Youth XXSmall will be changed to the most frequently selected size in that division.

Please use the link below for step-by-step instructions and make sure you are using the SportsEngine account used to register your player.

🥎 Softball Fall 2026 Player Evaluations Are Almost Here! 🥎

Evaluations for our rec season will be next Saturday, August 15! Please review the evaluation schedule and important information to ensure your player is ready for the day.

A few important reminders:
• Evaluations are required for 8U-12U. 6U and 14U are encouraged to come for uniform sizing only.
• Attend the assigned evaluation time based on your player's division.
• Check in at the Meeting room for registration at least 15-20 minutes before your scheduled time.
• Players should arrive dressed and ready with their glove, bat, helmet, face masks and water.
• Parents and spectators must remain outside the fields and dugouts.
• Waitlisted players: If your player is still on the waitlist on evaluation day, they do not need to attend. If a spot becomes available, you will receive an email with registration and roster information.

Uniform Reminder: Please confirm your player's jersey size and top three jersey number choices. There will be volunteers available at check in to confirm sizes and sample size jerseys to try on.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing everyone at the ballpark as we kick off a great Fall season!

What's up WCAA Fam!!! Hope everyone is having fun these last few days of summer break and ready to get back to softball 🎉

Our volunteers were taking some much needed time off to soak in these last few softball free days and we will be sharing evaluation schedules soon.

We are still actively working through the waitlist however we cannot give any further updates on status or where your player is in the queue. If you have received an email stating you have been released please pay your invoice immediately as we can only hold spots for a limited time before moving on to the next player.

Evals will take place Saturday August 15th starting in the am through mid afternoon for all players except 6U & 14U.

** VERY IMPORTANT**

We will have uniforms available for fitting and suggest all players to come just for sizing. During registration some players were listed to receive XXS jerseys. This needs to be corrected to the appropriate size or the player will not have it in time for the season start!!

Plan for being at the fields for at least 1hr, bring all equipment (bat, glove, helmet, cleats, face mask ) and water.

More details will be released shortly... thanks!
