The 2026–27 Skagit Valley College Foundation scholarship application cycle closed in February with a record 825 applications, reflecting both growing student need and the life-changing impact these scholarships have on students’ lives.

Ahead of the review process, we hosted Reviewer Training on February 3 to prepare volunteers for the careful and thoughtful evaluation of applications.

Thank you to the more than 90 dedicated volunteer reviewers whose time, care, and compassion make this work possible. Their commitment helps students pursue their goals, continue their education, and imagine new possibilities for their futures.

We look forward to celebrating this year’s scholarship recipients and sharing the impact of your continued generosity in opening doors for Skagit Valley College students.

Participants will paint individual puzzle pieces that will come together to create a large-scale mural celebrating the creativity, spirit, history, and diversity of the SVC community.

No experience is needed, and all ages are welcome. SVC has all the materials, all you need to bring is your imagination!
