2nd "Chance" Dog Rescue 2nd Chance Dog Rescue is a 501C non profit org dedicated to saving the medical senior dogs who have been abandoned at the most critcal time in their lives.

We are a small rescue with HUGE hearts and go above and beyond for every dog we give a 2nd Chance! WHO WE ARE:
2nd Chance Dog Rescue is a 501C3 non profit organization dedicated to saving the severely injured, sick, abused and abandoned dogs in need. We provide them with the proper medical and loving foster homes where they can recover from; not only their medical condition, but, also from their emotional trauma. We also rescue seniors dogs who have been abandoned by their owners when they needed them the most. We have opened our homes and hearts to them in hopes of finding them their forever home. We are also a partner of PACC911 and their critical care program. To support our cause:

PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR VINNY. I spoke with Dr. Brain this morning and the good news is, the foreign object has moved to his colon, so he should pass. BUT, he is overall doing worse.. he looks worse this morning, heaving breathing. They reschecked his blookwork and his liver values are OFF the charts, they can't explain the sudden and drastic change, so they are trying to coordinate an Ultra sound with Arise, if they can't get him in today, he will have one tomorrow. If he keeps declining he is going to need to be transferred to the Emergency Hospital so he can be monitored 24/7. What this poor boy has and is going through is beyond heartbreaking, yet he is still wagging his tail and looking for love. My heart is BREAKING for poor Vinny. He truly needs a life line and we truly need a life line to continue to fight for him. Please consider donating to our sweet boy, so we can give him EVERY chance to live.

How much can a dog handle? Vinny is proving to be a fighter, but he needs and deserves to live!!!!

After spending 12 days in isolation due to mycoplasma, pneumonia. coronavirus and herpes, our Vinny has been up and down with eating, so today I had Dr. Brain redo his bloodwork and X-rays. To both of our shock, in addition to every thing Vinny has going on , he also has a foreign object.

Vinny is having an ultra sound tonight and will spend the night on IV fluids. We will recheck X-rays in the morning and he will have surgery.

I don’t even know what his medical bill is to date, but know it is over $10,000. We are desperately in need of help with his surgery tomorrow. Please consider helping sweet Vinny who has been through so much, but is still fighting to stay alive.

2nd Chance Dog Rescue is in need of new turf. We need at least 30 rolls of 3x15 and 10 rolls of 5x15. Turf has to be decent grade. Last company charged us $4,000.

Anyone willing to donate and help us provide our dogs area with turf. Both Vinny and Aurora are in need.
