🎭✨ Artist Spotlight: Peter Girardot ✨🎭

We are thrilled to shine this week’s Artist Spotlight on the remarkable Peter Girardot, a masterful tenor whose career spans continents and decades of unforgettable performances.

Born in London, England, Peter moved to Toronto, Canada, where his exceptional voice earned him a four-year scholarship to study at the Royal Conservatory of Music. There, he began performing with the Toronto Opera and the Canadian Broadcasting System, quickly establishing himself as a rising star in the operatic world.
After graduating, Peter moved to California and joined the West Bay Opera Company, where his powerful and expressive voice earned him critical acclaim. His diverse roles have included Rodolfo in La Bohème, Don José in Carmen, Tamino in The Magic Flute, Faust, Otello, and many more.

Peter made his San Francisco Opera debut in Katya Kabanova under the baton of Rafael Kubelik and went on to spend over 30 years with the company, sharing the stage with legends such as Luciano Pavarotti and Plácido Domingo.

We are beyond honored to announce that Peter Girardot will be performing at the Visalia Opera Company’s “Taste of Opera” concert on June 28th at the historic Reedley Opera House. Don’t miss the chance to witness this incredible artist live on stage!

🎶 An evening of unforgettable music awaits. 🎶
