We’re aiming to get 1,000 Texans wearing these socks.

Why? Because when someone spots them and asks, “What does Y’all in? mean?”—that’s a chance to talk about organ, eye and tissue donation, and share what the decision means to you.

One conversation can travel from one person to their family, then to a friend, then to someone else. That’s the ripple we hope to create.

You can only get them through December 15, with proceeds supporting Donate Life Texas. After that, this limited edition design will be gone!

Yes, yes, and yes.

👓 Glasses or contacts: Nearsightedness and farsightedness come from the shape of your eye. They don’t affect the clear cornea that gets transplanted.

🔬 LASIK: You can still register. LASIK reshapes the front layer of the cornea, but many transplants today use only the back layer, which stays healthy. Any tissue that can’t be transplanted can still help with research and with training eye surgeons.

🎂 Over 60: There’s no upper age limit to register, and blood type doesn’t have to match.

Nearly anyone can give the gift of sight, and signing up only takes a minute. Seeing clearly is a TexUS thing. Y’all in?

Last week, Donate Life Texas joined donation professionals from across the country in Philadelphia for the Donate Life America Annual Conference. For three days, a room full of people focused on one question: how do we help more people say yes?

That means making registration easier.

It means meeting people where they already are, like the DPS counter, where most of us first say yes.

And it means telling the stories of donors, donor families, and recipients. Your stories are what move people. We carried them into that room, and we’re bringing them home to Texas.

To the families who said yes in the hardest moment of their lives: we see you, and we carry your loved ones with us.

To everyone still waiting: there are people working every day to give you more time.

After a mastectomy, healing doesn’t end when surgery does.

For many women, rebuilding is part of recovery, and donated tissue makes that possible. Skin from tissue donors is processed into a graft that surgeons use during breast reconstruction to support and protect the new breast as it heals. It helps the body rebuild, and it helps women feel whole again.

Someone made that choice before them. A single tissue donor can heal and enhance the lives of more than 75 people.

This October, we’re honoring the survivors rebuilding their lives, and the donors and families whose gift helped them do it. 💗💙
