We support survivors of all kinds 🩷

Did you know that survivors of sexual violence are 30% less likely to undergo routine mammography compared to those without a trauma history?

Cancer screenings, treatments, and other healthcare procedures can bring up feelings associated with past trauma. Healthcare interactions may be especially triggering when they involve frequent touch or exposure, or situations that can mirror aspects of the trauma itself, such as being in darkness, immobilized, or unable to speak during an exam or procedure.

Understanding these impacts can help providers offer trauma-informed care. 🎗

Love is...? 🕊️

This passage is often used to describe healthy relationships, but abusers can twist these teachings about forgiveness, patience, and endurance to pressure victims into staying in dangerous situations.

Real love does not require you to tolerate harm. It is built on mutual respect, emotional safety, and a shared commitment to treat each other with empathy and honesty. 💜

Why does it take going viral for justice to be served???

Universities shouldn’t be more concerned with their public image than with holding perpetrators accountable. Protecting students should be the number one priority, not protecting athletes, fraternities, professors, or anyone else at the expense of student safety.

Every student, EVERYWHERE, deserves a campus free of r**e.
