Great news! The City’s KORE Mobile Outreach Truck will be at Dolly Day 9/25 at Edgewood Park! As well!

KORE Mobile Outreach is a traveling recreation program that operates from a very colorful, 14-foot box truck loaded with a variety of physically active equipment and games that are adaptable for all ages and abilities.

The KORE Mobile Outreach truck provides fascinating physical fitness adventures that are often disguised as fun and play time. Some of the benefits include cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and teamwork.

UPDATE: She has been reunited with her family. ❤️

Does anyone recognize this lost dog? It is very sweet and wandered up into a neighbor's yard about an hour ago on Fairmont near Barton. Someone is holding onto it until we can find the owner.

Hi neighbors! Would anyone be interested in doing a workshop on bike/pedestrian-friendly driving? Bike Walk Knoxville reached out to us about scheduling one in the neighborhood and we want to see if that's something of interest! Please comment below if you would like to do this training. You can find more information about it here: https://www.bwknox.org/bike_ped_driver

Thank you to everyone who came out to this evening’s neighborhood meeting with Beau Hawk for Knox County Mayor. We had some great questions and good discussion!

A reminder that early voting continues through Aug. 1 and Election Day is Aug. 6. If you live in Edgewood Park, your precinct is likely the Larry Cox Senior Center on Election Day, but for early voting you can go to any location!

You can find early voting locations and times, as well as sample ballots for both primaries, here: https://www.knoxcounty.org/election/

If you want to learn more about the candidates, Compass has some good write-ups on the races: https://compassknox.com/2026/07/20/compass-guide-to-the-aug-6-election/
