20 Best Christian Devotionals | Day 55 of 58

YOUR FAITH WON’T GROW BY ACCIDENT.

Day 55 of the 58-Day Leadership Challenge is about building a daily rhythm with God.

Read Scripture.
Use a solid devotional.
Slow down.
Listen.
Reflect.
Pray.

A good devotional should never replace the Bible—but it can help point you back to it, give you structure, and challenge you to think deeply about your walk with Christ.

Whether it’s a devotional from a trusted Christian author or a simple daily reading plan, the goal is the same:

Spend intentional time with God.

Don’t wait until life gets hard to start seeking Him.

Build the habit now.

Heroes of the Faith | Day 54 of 58

WHO ARE YOUR CHILDREN’S HEROES?

Culture is constantly offering them people to admire.
But are we also introducing them to men and women whose FAITH is worth imitating?

Day 54 of the 58-Day Leadership Challenge is about bringing the heroes of the faith into your home.

Hebrews 13:7 tells us to remember faithful leaders, consider the outcome of their lives, and imitate their faith.

Teach your family about believers like Andrew, Hudson Taylor, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and countless others who chose obedience when following Christ was costly.

Read their stories.
Talk about their courage.
Learn from their failures.
Celebrate their faithfulness.

Your kids need examples that show them what a life fully surrendered to God can look like.

Give them heroes worth following.

You May have noticed that our culture seems to go a little crazy over celebrating Halloween. I have been asked many times if I believe Christian’s should celebrate Halloween. There is certainly a lot of controversy amongst Christian’s  during this time regarding Halloween, and although I w

Plan Missional Activities for Your Family | Day 53 of 58

DADS — YOUR FAMILY WASN’T CREATED JUST TO CONSUME.

You were created to SERVE.

Day 53 of the 58-Day Leadership Challenge is about intentionally planning missional activities your family can do together.

Serve someone in need.
Volunteer together.
Help a neighbor.
Support a ministry.

Step outside your normal routine and let your kids experience what it looks like to put faith into action.

Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve.
Our families should reflect that same heart.

Sometimes the best discipleship happens when you leave the house, step outside your comfort zone, and serve someone together.

Don’t just tell your kids to care about people.

SHOW THEM.

Lead A Family Devotional | Day 52 of 58

Open the Bible.
Gather your family.
Read together.
Ask questions.

Pray.

Day 52 of the 58-Day Leadership Challenge is about establishing a consistent family devotional time in your home.

You don’t need to be a pastor.
You don’t need a theology degree.
You simply need to be intentional.

Set a time.
Protect it.
Encourage questions.
Make it a conversation.
Keep showing up.

Real transformation often happens through small moments repeated consistently.
Men, your family needs more than a church service once a week.
They need faith lived out at home.

Pray Daily with Your Family | Day 51 of 58

YOUR FAMILY NEEDS MORE THAN YOUR PROVISION. They need your PRAYERS.

Day 51 of the 58-Day Leadership Challenge is a reminder to intentionally pray for your wife, your children, and the people God has entrusted to you.

Pray for their protection.
Pray for their faith.

Pray for wisdom over the decisions they make.
Pray over the influences and relationships in their lives.
Pray that your family grows closer to God and closer to one another.
You may not be able to follow your children everywhere they go.

You can’t control everything they encounter.
But you can bring their names before God every single day.
Men, don’t underestimate the power of a praying father and husband.
Lead your family on your knees.

How to Make Moral Choices | Day 50 of 58

BEFORE YOU MAKE THAT DECISION… STOP.

Just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you SHOULD.

Men, some of the biggest mistakes we make begin when we move too quickly, ignore wisdom, or convince ourselves that what we want must also be what God wants.

Before making the move, ask the biblical questions.

Does this honor God?
Does it line up with His Word?
What are my motives?
What will it cost?
Am I willing to sacrifice?
Have I sought wise counsel?
Am I being consistent?
Or am I simply looking for an excuse to do what I already decided?

Wisdom asks questions before consequences force us to.

Slow down.
Pray.
Think.
Seek Scripture.
Then move.

DADS — SOMEBODY IS GOING TO TEACH YOUR KIDS ABOUT S*X.

The question is: WHO?

Their friends?
Social media?
Po*******hy?
Culture?

Or you?

Day 49 of the 58-Day Leadership Challenge is about having honest, age-appropriate conversations with your children about s*x from a biblical perspective.

Yes, it can feel uncomfortable.

Have the conversation anyway.

Teach them God’s design.
Give them a safe place to ask questions.
Talk about po*******hy.
Listen without panicking.
Keep the door open for future conversations.

Your silence doesn’t protect your children from the subject.

It may simply leave someone else to explain it first.

Dad, lead the conversation.

DADS — YOUR CHILDREN NEED TO BE BLESSED BY YOU.

Not just financially.

Spiritually.
Emotionally.
Personally.

Pray over them.
Be available to them.
Put your hands on them and remind them they are loved.
Disciple them.
Speak life into them.
Love them unconditionally.

Your kids should never have to wonder whether Dad is accessible or whether his love depends on their performance.

Jesus intentionally welcomed and blessed children.

Men, we should too.

Sometimes one of the most powerful things you can do as a father is simply stop, listen, pray, hug your child, and remind them:

“I’m here. I love you. And I’m praying for you.”
