Mentoring
Women Moving Forward Together Network, Inc. will provide mentorship to young women ages 12-29 years old in the community. Women Moving Forward Together Network, Inc. will offer the mentoring on a monthly basis for two hours. During that time the mentor and the mentee will speak about issues about motherhood, education, empowerment, and daily issues. In addition, the mentor and mentee will come up with a goals sheet for the young women to achieve while in the program. will ensure that the mentor and mentee are following up on a weekly basis either by phone or one on one to see the progress. Women Moving Forward Together Network, Inc. will offer young mothers ages 12-29 years old in the community with needed resources that include transportation, childcare, home visits, holiday blues, and any other help necessary. will provide all these services to the young women free of charge. Our goal is to help the young women move forward in their lives in a positive light. Join the Love in Action Movement
Women Moving Forward Together Network, Inc. It was decided to follow this course of action based on the expertise of the Executive Director, as well as the success of similarly structured programs and organizations. will provide teens, young parents and adults with the resources and life skills to become a productive member of society. We provide Love in Action our project that provides mentoring, educational support, job readiness skills, parenting classes, counseling and referrals to various social services organizations. We will be focusing our classes on social skills, conflict resolution, character building, parenting classes, morality, emotional support and domestic violence. will provide services in Will, Dupage ,Kane, Kendall, and Cook Counties.
Introduction
Women Moving Forward Together Network, Inc. is a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to organize a positive, enriching environment contributing to an improved quality of life for our area of young women and families. The organization’s projects, implemented by a well-trained staff, emphasize character development and change at-risk youth from the inside out. Supporting the development of self-confidence, healthful living, good judgment, and character, Women Moving Forward Together Network, Inc. provides many struggling women and young people with a thorough foundation for future success. Individual empowerment and self-determination have always been strong components of the organization. Directed by Tiffany Reeves, the organization was conceived and organized to address the social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of most disadvantaged women and youth, to counteract failure, and to assist in the successful transition to life in a positive environment. Our mission is accomplished by addressing the critical issues of education, socialization, moral principles, security, and self-control through programs and services that exercise high standards of ethics, coupled with best practices in management and accountability. We are dedicated to helping each young person reach his or her individual potential by encouraging a belief in personal responsibility, instilling habits of hard work and demonstrating passionate commitment to excellence.
