Another post for Arlene because she saw a need within our community and didn’t hesitate to respond! One of the elders in our Mobile Infirmary program, Denice, received Arlene’s mother’s wheelchair when Arlene noticed that Denice’s old one was in bad shape. Creative, selfless acts of service like this are what make our ACE family so strong!

After years of sponsoring through a larger organization, Jolene switched to ACE for the chance to meet her child. “I’ve met my sponsor kids during medical missions for two years now. For me, sponsoring a child is deeply rewarding, knowing I’m helping kids with school uniforms, lunches, field trips, etc. Not only providing for a child physically, but praying each day for their spiritual needs, too.”

Jolene’s story reminds us that sponsorship isn’t just providing financial support—it’s joining a partnership to help children reach their fullest potential. When sponsors travel with ACE teams, they see firsthand the impact of their support and form lasting bonds!

This week is Hurricane Preparedness Week. What better time to share updates from our hurricane relief efforts following “Mean Melissa”? We are delighted to share that the amount of support we received made it possible for ACE to fully recover from the storm last October! While we will continue to clean up inner roads, our properties are in good shape compared to farms and hotels on the other side of the island, many of which are still closed. We are beyond grateful for your support over the last seven months, and would greatly appreciate continued prayers that we won’t have to worry about a hurricane or destructive weather this coming season. We’ve had enough wind and rain to fill our tanks for a decade!

We can’t have a throwback to our Men’s & Women’s Conference without highlighting our amazing volunteer, Roy! For almost 20 years, Roy has served at ACE, and he started serving during the Men’s & Women’s Conference about 15 years ago! His favorite aspect of serving is with the children, but he also enjoys the various work projects we have to complete, as well as getting to form deep connections and relationships with everyone at ACE and the community as a whole. Roy even credits the years that he has served alongside ACE to how much he has grown in his faith.

Thank you, Roy, for your faithful dedication to ACE, our people, our mission, and—most importantly—the Lord! You and your wife, Kathy, are an incredible blessing to our ministry. ❤️
