South Shore: The Cultural Soul Coast of Chicago We community engagement organization. We build networks in neighborhoods that tap into the human capital on the block.

In an effort to promote the what's missing from the media regarding South Shore, branding as the Cultural Soul Coast was initiated in November 2014. Major missing areas of communication are the cultural scene here on the southern coast. That's in addition to the heart of the people, the self-determination and the ability of the people to work together, which in itself is cultural. Our intent is to reveal, retain, and share the best of us, share the fun and enjoyment equally with the respect for who we are and who we have the potential to be.

Please do not share or respond to the Tennessee State University / Meharry scholarship flyer currently circulating online unless it can be verified directly through official TSU or Meharry websites.
The flyer asks students to send information to a personal Gmail address rather than an official university email or application portal, which is a significant red flag. Legitimate university scholarships are normally handled through official .edu websites and admissions offices.
Before sharing personal information, families should independently verify any scholarship opportunity directly with the colleges involved.
