Wheels, Wings & Wishes

Attention all convertible, Jeep and truck owners!! We got a great way to show off your ride to the community. The Moon High School Homecoming crew is in need. They are looking for people that would be willing to bring their vehicle and use it in the Homecoming parade transporting a couple on Thursday September 24. The parade starts at the Middle School and travels over to the High School (about a half mile). They will start lining vehicles up at 5pm and the parade will start at 5:30. Once you travel to the High School you can drop the couple off and leave or park and stay for the carnival activities!
If you are interested, please contact Bethany Klisavage at [email protected] or call her at (412) 480-8679.

As the dust settles from our year 12 event, we got news that we didn't want to hear. Jacki Porter (on the left), who has been a supporter of ours since year one and a friend even longer, passed away last night after a battle with cancer. She not only attended and volunteered at our events, but she got her employer United Healthcare to sponsor our event repeatedly over many years. She was a passionate wife, stepmother, sister, Aunt and friend. She tirelessly volunteered for those less fortunate and always wanted to bring smiles to everybody's faces. Our thoughts are with her family and we hope they can find comfort knowing she made a difference in people's lives.
