I had the privilege to pay my respects to Commissioner Veatrice Jews. Ms V was a community leader in San Bernardino County, California, with a focus on health and wellness. She was the Health Chair of the Inland Empire Concerned African American Churches (IECAAC) and a retired Administrative Director of a Clinical and Anatomical Pathology Laboratory.
Additionally, she served as the 5th District Behavioral Health Commissioner for San Bernardino County, representing Black churches in the area. This is how I had the opportunity to work with her. 🥰 She had more energy than people 1/2 her age and always wanted better for her community. Ms V you will be missed by everyone who knew you Thank you for your tireless community service. 💜
