San Diego Urban Beats Empowering Transition Age Youth and destigmatizing the conversation around mental health through the

Urban Beats is an innovative artistic expression program for Transition Age youth (TAY). Urban Beats aims to increase engagement in mental health treatment by creating and delivering TAY-focused artistic productions and social media messaging. Urban Beats activities are held throughout
Central/Southeast San Diego. Urban Beats
utilizes strengths identification and artistic self expression to destigmatize mental health,
promote youth self -empowerment, improve
wellness, and self sufficiency. Membership Eligibility:
Our services are available to all Transition Age Youth (TAY) who:
Are between 16 and 25 years old AND
Are receiving or in need of behavioral health services.
