THE SPIRIT OF RESTENCE

As the son of a Holocaust survivor and 1st generation descendant of N**i resistance fighters, the spirit of resistance is deeply ingrained in me.

My mother crossed through N**i checkpoints disguised as a nurse, searching for Dutch homes willing to hide Jewish people from death.

My uncle dressed as a N**i soldier and conducted raids on local N**i station houses, fighting to release Jews who had been marked for the camps.

My grandfather was arrested by the N**is multiple times because they suspected him of helping the Underground. What they did not know was that he was the leader of the local resistance. German soldiers were posted outside their home, constantly watching for any sign that Jewish people were being hidden there.

My father was the only survivor who made it out of Holland following Kristallnacht — the “Night of Broken Glass,” when the windows of Jewish merchants were shattered and the machinery of the Holocaust began moving openly and violently.

My paternal grandfather, an Orthodox Rabbi in Germany, along with my uncles, aunts, cousins, and family line, perished in the camps.

So yes — I carry a spirit of resistance.
Not rebellion against God, but resistance against evil.

Resistance against silence.
Resistance against antisemitism.
Resistance against compromise.
Resistance against the powers that seek to erase the Jewish people, silence the truth, and extinguish the testimony of God.
I come from a family that stood in the face of death and chose courage.

That same fire still burns in me.

Yes — I have a spirit of resistance.
And by the grace of God, I will never bow to darkness, the spirit of religion, nor the status quo. I will preach the Good News of the Gospel, while carrying the torch for revival, reformation, and resistance against apathy and lukewarm faith. See less

THE APPOINTED SEASON: THE STIRRING OF THE WATERS

A Prophetic Word for This Hour The Appointed Season of Stirred Waters Heaven is moving. Waters are being stirred. The presence of Yeshua is drawing near. Ten years ago, at a Missions Convention, we launched The 12 Affirmations of Israel.

It was a sacred and unforgettable moment. Beautifully framed declarations were placed before pastors and leaders, and publicly affirmed in Sunday services. These were not merely statements on paper; they were covenantal declarations before God.

The Church stood and declared Israel’s role in God’s end-time plan, the irrevocable calling upon the Jewish people, and the Church’s responsibility to stand faithfully with Israel.
The 12 Affirmations proclaimed a biblical commitment: that the Church would support Israel, honor God’s covenant promises, and carry the burden of seeing Jewish people come to faith in their own Jewish Messiah, Yeshua.

It was more than a mission's emphasis. It was a moment of alignment.

Pastors, congregations, and leaders publicly acknowledged that Israel is not a side issue in Scripture, but central to the unfolding purposes of God. The Jewish people remain beloved because of the fathers, and the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.

A decade later, that declaration still speaks.
The call has not diminished. The urgency has only increased. The Church must remember, reaffirm, and return to God’s covenant heart for Israel and the Jewish people.

Israel has a role.
The Jewish people have a calling.
The Church has a responsibility.
And the Messiah is still drawing His people home.

Three Days of Awe: A Call to Teshuvah — תְּשׁוּבָה]

As we gather September 10–12 for Striking the Ground in Vineland, New Jersey, we are not merely coming to attend another event. We are entering a set-apart moment — three days of awe before the Lord.

Awe is not hype. Awe is not religious emotion. Awe is what happens when the soul becomes aware that the King of Glory is near.

When God reveals Himself, the first response of the human heart is not performance — it is return.
That is the heart of Teshuvah — תְּשׁוּבָה.

Teshuvah means more than repentance in the shallow sense of regret. It means to return — to turn back to God, back to His presence, back to His holiness, back to His ways, back to the place where the heart was created to live.

The biblical Days of Awe, from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur, call the people of God into reflection, repentance, humility, and alignment. But before the calendar fully opens into that sacred season, the Lord is calling us to gather in New Jersey for three days of holy awe — a prophetic threshold leading us into 5787.

These three days are an invitation to stand before the Lord and say:
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts. Lead me in the everlasting way.”

When awe returns, repentance becomes natural.
When the fear of the Lord returns, compromise loses its grip.
When the King of Glory draws near, hearts begin to bow.
When His presence fills the room, we do not have to be forced to repent — we are drawn back by the beauty of His holiness.

This is why Striking the Ground is not just a revival gathering. It is a summons to return.

Return to first love.
Return to holiness.
Return to obedience.
Return to the altar.
Return to the harvest.
Return to the King.

For three days, we will come not casually, but consecrated. We will come not as spectators, but as those who sense that Heaven is requiring something of us. We will come to worship, pray, repent, receive, and be commissioned.

The Lord is not looking for speed. He is looking for precision. He is not merely looking for activity. He is looking for alignment. What carried us in past seasons, as good as it may have been, cannot fully carry us into this new move of God unless our hearts return to Him in awe.
This is a holy threshold.

New Jersey is being called to become a womb of renewal. Vineland is being marked as a headwater of revival. Chestnut Assembly of God is becoming a place of consecration, encounter, and commissioning.

And the cry is simple:
Let the King of Glory come in.
These three days of awe are not an ending. They are an opening. They prepare the heart for the deeper work of repentance, restoration, and the fresh fear of the Lord.

As we strike the ground, we are saying:
No more delay.
No more casual Christianity.
No more “if.”
No more standing at a distance.
We return.
We return to the Lord.
We return to His presence.
We return to His purpose.
We return to the harvest.
We return to awe.
