(WXXV)- The funeral services of Taylor Dickey, a flight instructor, friend, and member of the Gulf Coast Aviation community, took place Tuesday morning following her tragic passing in a plane crash over Lake Pontchartrain. Disaster & Victim Services joined United Cajun Navy in Kerrville. Texas area to assist in Emotional and Spiritual support to the community and was able to give out Comfort Cubs to many of the victims..Without the support of The United Cajun Navy and The Comfort Cubs this would not be possible.

Spent the week in Gatlinburg at the ICPC Chaplains training conferance and got to speak st a local church where I got to meet this precious person and was able to give her a Comfort Cub. I

Chaplain Tony Dickey and Amanda Nixon, Emotional Trama Specalist, will be departing for Kerr County, Texas to help provide emotional and spiritual support to the community, They will also be providing, Theraputic Comfort Cubs, to those that have been traumatized by the disaster. Working with United Cajun Navy, Comfort Cubs, and the community.

Disaster & Victim Services was in Israel for two weeks working with Nazareth Hospital, Neve Michael Children's Village and other organizations introducing Youth Peer Support and The Comfort Cubs to assist in treating those who have suffered a traumatic emotional event. Thanks to the United Cajun Navy and Comfort Cubs organizationand and those private donations, Operation Comfort for Israel, was a great success. Go to , thecomfortcub.org to learn more about this therapeutic bear cub. We gave the Comfort Cubs to "Any" one that was suffering from severe emotional trauma.

Chaplain Tony Dickey was with the Nicole Perez family as they laid her to rest. Nicole was a fatality victim of the New Orleans terrorist attack. Please pray for her young son and other family members as they mourn the loss of Nicole.
