MEN'S WORSHIP RALLIES - All men are invited to an evening of fellowship that will include supper, followed by worship, testimony, a spiritual challenge, and prayer. Join others from the region as we pursue being the men God created us to be! These November rallies provide a time of meaningful worship and great fellowship, as well as missions information and inspiration to strengthen ministry to men in the local church. MEN's MINISTRY CORNERSTONE - One of the four cornerstones of an effective ministry to men is to Evangelize Men to Salvation and Into the Life of the Church. Think "fellowship" - something that all men need, but may not express - along with "outreach". How can we provide men a way to gather in order to encourage and exhort one other in our walk with Christ? At the same time, how might we expand our reach to those men who are on the sidelines - family members, friends, co-workers, inactive church members, men in our community? MEN'S OUTDOOR WEEKEND - Baptists On Mission held its annual Men's Outdoor Weekend at Camp Caraway May 1-2. A large group of men from all across the state gathered for a time of worship, fellowship, and shooting activities. Guest speaker Chris Wells, known as the "Bass Chaplain", brought an inspiring evangelistic message Friday night - and an informative demonstration on casting and presentation Saturday morning. Young (14) and old (89) alike enjoyed a full day of outdoor activities led by our dedicated and knowledgeable volunteer staff. Competition was held and awards given in s***t, tomahawk, ri**es, archery, pistols, and sling shot. Thank you to all our participants, who make this annual event so meaningful!
