Strong boards help build strong futures. 💜

We're grateful for the incredible women who serve on the Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania Board of Directors and for the leadership, advocacy, and generosity they bring to our mission every day.

Yesterday, many of them joined us at JA Rising Women, helping welcome 100 young women, 100 volunteers, and a community of professionals committed to expanding networks, building confidence, and opening doors.

Their impact extends far beyond a single event. Through their leadership, they help strengthen partnerships, engage their organizations, connect us to new advocates, and ensure more young people have access to the experiences and relationships that can shape their futures.

Thank you for your leadership, your belief in young people, and your continued commitment to Junior Achievement. We're proud to have you leading alongside us.

A special thank you to Johnson & Johnson, our JA Rising Women Legacy Sponsor, for helping make JA Rising Women 2026 possible!

We are especially grateful to Dr. Tolbert for helping kick off the day with inspiring opening remarks and reinforcing the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders.

We also want to recognize the incredible Johnson & Johnson volunteers who spent the day sharing their time, experiences, and career journeys with students. The conversations they had, the questions they answered, and the encouragement they provided are exactly what JA Rising Women is all about.

For many students, opportunities like this are about more than career exploration. They are about building networks, seeing new possibilities, and meeting professionals who help make future goals feel attainable.

Thank you to the entire Johnson & Johnson team for showing up, sharing your expertise, and helping young women build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to pursue their ambitions.

What an incredible day at JA Rising Women 2026! 💜

As students were heading out at the end of the day, one participant turned to their teacher and said: "Today was a beautiful day."

We couldn't think of a better way to describe it.

Yesterday, 11th and 12th graders from Philadelphia connected with professionals, heard personal career journeys, expanded their networks, and explored new possibilities for their futures.

None of that happens without the educators and volunteers who invest their time, energy, and expertise in young people! Thank you to our teachers, counselors, administrators, speakers, and volunteers, especially our partners at The School District of Philadelphia for helping create opportunities that extend beyond the classroom and introducing students to new ideas, experiences, and pathways.

Throughout the day, the young women asked thoughtful questions, made meaningful connections, and saw firsthand that there are many ways to pursue their ambitions.

We are grateful to the educators, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who helped make JA Rising Women possible and who continues to show up for the next generation.

Yesterday, we celebrated the power of connection at JA Rising Women 2026!

From our Partner Breakfast to the final conversations of the day, 100 young women and 100 volunteers came together for a day of networking, mentorship, career exploration, and inspiration.

The day began with our Partner Breakfast, where current and future JA supporters came together to learn more about JA SEPA's strategic direction and the important role we can all play in expanding opportunity for the next generation.

Throughout the day, students built new relationships, heard personal journeys, expanded their networks, and explored future possibilities. Experiences like these are only possible because of the educators, volunteers, and sponsors who invest their time, talent, and resources in the next generation.

A special thank you to our education partner the School District of Philadelphia, and to the many organizations that helped make JA Rising Women 2026 possible:

Some investments create opportunities that last far beyond a single day.

We're grateful to the Zeigler Family Foundation - ZFF for its commitment to expanding access to JA Finance Park and helping young people build the knowledge, confidence, and decision-making skills that support long-term economic mobility.

As our JA Finance Park Simulation Signature Sponsor, the foundation helps create an experience where students connect education, careers, and personal finance through real-world decision-making.

The impact is powerful: after participating in JA Finance Park, 94% of students reported being more motivated to pursue education and career interests, 94% reported a stronger understanding of how education contributes to future success, and 93% expressed greater confidence in both their financial future and future workplace success.

Economic mobility begins when young people can envision a future for themselves and believe they have the tools to achieve it.

Thank you, Zeigler Family Foundation, for helping make those opportunities possible.

Special thanks to our JA Finance Park® lead investors, the School District of Philadelphia and Lincoln Financial, and our Signature Simulation Sponsor, Zeigler Family Foundation - ZFF.

Since the launch of JA Rising Women in 2022, Johnson & Johnson has stood beside JA SEPA as a champion for the next generation of women leaders. Now, as our 2026 Legacy Sponsor, they continue that commitment by helping make career-connected learning experiences possible for young women in Philadelphia.

What makes partnerships like this special is that they extend beyond financial support. Johnson & Johnson team members consistently show up as volunteers, mentors, speakers, and advocates, helping young people see what's possible for their futures.

On October 7, (100) 11th and 12th grade students will connect directly with professional women who are opening doors, sharing experiences, and helping them build confidence in their own potential.

Thank you, Johnson & Johnson, for helping JA Rising Women grow year after year and for investing in the future workforce of our region.

A Tax Credit with an Impact

What if your company's Pennsylvania tax dollars could help young people gain the skills, confidence, and connections they need to achieve economic mobility and build a brighter future?

Through EITC, businesses and eligible taxpayers can invest in JA SEPA's hands-on, career-connected learning experiences that prepare students for success in school, work, and life.

This year, EITC funding is helping bring JA programs to more than 2,700 young people across our region. Thanks to these tax credit investments, young people will step into real-world roles through JA BizTown®, build financial capability in JA Finance Park®, explore entrepreneurship through JA Be Entrepreneurial®, and gain exposure to the career pathways and workplace skills needed to thrive in today's economy.

Behind every EITC contribution is a young person discovering what's possible for their future.

Learn more about how EITC works and the difference it is making in our communities by visiting our EITC website (https://ow.ly/84UV50ZSJOu) and watching our business-focused webinar (https://ow.ly/MUSM50ZSJUN).
