Mamake 'oe nā kuki? (Would you like some cookies?) Of course, it's Kirstie's! Meet Debbie, the mana wāhine behind these delicious cookies. She'll be at our hō'ike ... and she's taking preorders via Kirstie's Kookies Messenger until next Tuesday. Everyone going through withdrawals, time to fill your cupboards 🍪🍪🍪

This year, our hōʻike has a special raffle benefitting the Punaluʻu Bakery on the Big island of Hawaiʻi, that was damaged by Hurricane Lala in August 2026. They have always been wonderful to our Brentwood Hālau and we wanted to do something for them. Our creative genius, Patricia Hopkins Saitz sewed this quilt in honor of our Kāne, hence the Aloha Shirts theme. These Tickets will only be sold at hōʻike and you must be present to win. Tickets are $20.00 each.

A beautiful morning filled with ho'ailona for Brentwood's haipule. It was the nicest day we've ever had ... the sun was out and it was hot, the doggies were friendly. Our resident crow and all of her friends were on hand to hear our P**e, our Oli, and the ocean was there to take away our tears and kaumaha. We carried all those who couldn't make it safely in our hearts. Hō'ike, here we come ❤️🎉
