❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to Humane World for Animals (formerly the Humane Society of the United States)!

Thanks to their incredible generosity, we received 24 pallets of pet food to restock our completely empty pet food pantry! This donation will make an enormous difference for struggling families and their beloved pets throughout Saginaw County. We are incredibly grateful!

🐾 If you submitted a Pet Food Assistance application within the past 60 days, we have your information and will be working to deliver food directly to you.

🐾 If you are struggling to feed your pets, please complete the Pet Food Assistance application on our website:

HumaneSocietyofSaginawCounty.org

We kindly ask that all requests go through our online application rather than email or phone calls. Our organization is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who also work full-time jobs. Using the online application allows us to keep requests organized, make sure no one is overlooked, and get food to the families who need it most. Plesse mention what your pet is currently eating and we will try to accomodate but no guarantees that we have it.

Thank you again to Humane World for Animals. We are so incredibly grateful for tour assistance with helping us keep pets fed, healthy, and with the families who love them! ❤️🐾

❤️ **TNR SAVES LIVES!** 🐾

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) does so much more than help control the outdoor cat population. It also gives us the opportunity to rescue cats and kittens who might otherwise never have a chance at a better life.

Through our TNR efforts, we humanely trap outdoor cats, provide necessary medical care, spay or neuter, vaccinate, and return feral cats who are fearful of people to their familiar outdoor homes and caretakers.

But not every cat we trap is feral. We frequently encounter friendly adult cats who have been abandoned, along with kittens young enough to be socialized and placed into loving homes. In fact, the majority of our adoptable cats and kittens are rescued from the outdoors.

❤️ **Meet Wren, Sparrow, and Starling.**

We trapped their mother, provided the care she needed, and returned her to her outdoor home. But we knew she had kittens somewhere, and we weren't about to leave them behind.

After searching, we finally found her three tiny daughters. All three had eye infections and needed medical attention. We brought them into our foster care and adoption program, where they were bottle-fed, treated, and lovingly raised until they were healthy and ready for homes of their own.

**The photos below tell a beautiful story.** The first shows the three little girls on the day we rescued them. The second captures a very special moment today as Starling went home with this wonderful couple who opened their hearts and home to her! ❤️

From a tiny, vulnerable kitten struggling to survive outdoors to a beautiful, healthy girl beginning her new life in a safe, loving indoor home.

**This is why we do what we do. This is why TNR matters. And this is what rescue is all about.**

Thank you to Starling's new family for giving this sweet, gorgeous girl the forever home she deserves. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!

🐾 **Every cat deserves compassion. Every rescue matters. Every life is worth saving.**

We may not be back at PetSmart until the weekend of October 24, but our sweet babies are still hoping to find families and homes of their very own!

If you're thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, please take a look at the cats and kittens featured below. We'd love to answer any questions you may have and help you find the perfect match.

You can fill out an adoption application on our website. Meet-and-greets can be arranged at the foster home, so need to wait until an event. These wonderful babies deserve a loving family, a cozy place to call home, and someone to snuggle up with every day.

Could one of them be your new best friend? ❤️🐾

Wings for a Cause! 🐾
All day next Monday October 12th, stop into Buffalo Wild Wings on 2690 Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw to support the Humane Society of Saginaw County! Grab your friends, bring your appetite, and enjoy some delicious wings while helping animals in need in our community.

We have many rescues in our care that need to have some expensive medical procedures done and we already have vet bills to pay down and have lots of hungry mouths to feed.

What better way to watch Monday Night Football than with family or friends and enjoy some yummy wings!

You can present this ticket physically or digitally to your server, and Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 20% of your total bill back to us.

Please share this post to help make this fundraiser a success.

💛 Adoption Weekend at Saginaw PetSmart 💛
This Saturday & Sunday • 12 PM – 5 PM

Somewhere in the aisles of PetSmart this weekend, a tiny kitten will press their face to the cage hoping someone stops to notice them. A shy adult cat will gather the courage to step forward for a gentle touch. And a once‑forgotten rescue will look up with eyes that say, “Please… choose me.”

This weekend isn’t just an event — it’s a chance for new beginnings.
It’s a chance for frightened kittens to feel safe.
For overlooked adults to finally be seen.
For loving souls to find the family they’ve been waiting for.

---

🐾 So Many Hearts Waiting for Home
We’re bringing tons of kittens full of wonder and zoomies, and beautiful adult cats who have already learned how to love deeply. Each one has a story. Each one has hope. And each one is ready to give someone their whole heart.
