DAY 6 — WHEN LIFE CHANGES WITHOUT WARNING 💛

Crisis Support + Supplies

This is one of the biggest reasons we want this center to exist.

Because sometimes families don't have time to prepare for what happens next.

Imagine taking your child to the ER in Durant and suddenly hearing, “We're transferring them to Dallas.” You thought you'd be home that night. Now you're hours away with no change of clothes, toiletries, phone charger, comfort items, or anything you would have packed if you'd known.

Imagine a survivor realizing tonight is the night they have to leave. They're choosing safety, but they're leaving behind clothes, hygiene products, children's belongings, and many of the basic things they use every day.

Or imagine getting the call about an unexpected foster or kinship placement. A child is coming to your home and you suddenly need diapers, clothes, a car seat, bottles, toiletries, pajamas, or other essentials—and you need them now.

This is what we mean when we say crisis support.

The Blessings Boutique won't only be somewhere families can shop. Donations will also help us keep supplies available so BTMI can put together individualized crisis packages based on what a family actually needs.

Diapers. Wipes. Clothing. Toiletries. Period products. Baby supplies. Comfort items. Travel necessities. Chargers. Bags. Children's essentials. Postpartum supplies. And more.

Sometimes support looks like a class, a resource or someone sitting beside you.

And sometimes support looks like a bag packed with everything you didn't know you were going to need that morning.

Our goal is simple: when life changes without warning, families in our community should have somewhere they can turn. 💛

This is why we're building the BTMI Family Support Center.

DAY 5 — RENTABLE PHOTOGRAPHY + MEDIA SPACE 📸🎙️

Today we’re stepping into one of the creative pieces of the future BTMI Family Support Center — our rentable photography space!

Our vision is to create an affordable, beautiful space where local photographers, families, small businesses, creators, and professionals can create without needing their own studio.

📸 Family, maternity, newborn & milestone photography
📸 Branding and product photos
🎥 Social media & video content
🎙️ Potential podcast/interview setup
💻 Content creation & virtual meetings
✨ Seasonal or rotating photo setups

We plan to start with photography rentals at around $25/hour, then allow the space to grow as we learn what our community actually needs. Eventually, we could add lighting, backdrops, microphones, recording equipment, and other media options.

And because this is inside the Family Support Center, it also gives BTMI a dedicated place to tell stories, film educational content, interview survivors and professionals, and create media for our programs.

The goal isn't a huge professional production studio. It's an accessible, flexible creative space that can grow with our community.

🎁 OUR FIRST WRAPPED IN LOVE DONATION! 🎁

It officially begins!
We received our very first donation for the Wrapped in Love Project—and it couldn't be more perfect!

A wrapping paper storage container filled with wrapping supplies! We're adding a Wrapped in Love sticker to the front, and this will officially become our first program storage bin. ❤️

It may look like a container of wrapping paper, bows, and supplies…but to us, it's the beginning of something much bigger.

Bin #1. Donation #1. Let’s fill it up. 🎁✨

We are collecting wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper, bows, ribbon, tape, tags, and other gift-wrapping supplies to help families make Christmas feel special without adding another expense.

DAY 4 — RENTABLE WORKSPACE 💻✨

After a few days off, we’re back to taking you inside the future BTMI Family Support Center!

Today: Rentable Workspace for Parents.

Because sometimes you need to work… but you also have kids.

Our vision includes rentable workspace options where parents can bring their laptop, meet with a client, work on their business, study, handle paperwork, or simply have a quiet place to GET. STUFF. DONE.

And one of the biggest perks?

Kids Club is right there. 🥳

Parents can work while their children enjoy a safe, fun space nearby—without having to figure out traditional childcare just to get a few productive hours.

We’re planning options for:

✨ Monthly workspace rentals
✨ Day/drop-in workspace access
✨ Kids Club access drop in or membership
✨ A professional place to meet or work

This is especially something I want available for work-from-home parents, small business owners, students, creators, and parents trying to build something while raising little humans.

Because sometimes supporting a family looks like diapers and emergency supplies.

And sometimes it looks like saying:
“Go get your work done. We’ve got a space for you.” 💛

🎉🧸 DAY 3: COME INSIDE THE BTMI FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER! 🧸🎉

TODAY IS KIDS CLUB DAY! WOOHOO! 🥳

Imagine a place where your kids can play, make friends, explore, and have FUN while you shop, attend a workshop, meet with a support specialist, or get a little work done. 💕

Welcome to the BTMI Kids Club!

We're creating a fun, safe, welcoming space for children right inside our Family Support Center.

Because supporting parents also means making sure their little ones have a place to belong!

✨ Here's how Kids Club will work:

🧸 Play while you shop! Drop your little ones off for up to an hour while you browse Blessings Boutique. All we ask is a minimum $1 donation!

🎨 Classes, workshops & support groups! Need somewhere for the kids to play while you participate in a BTMI program? We've got you! $3 while attending services.

💻 Working parents, we see you! Whether you're renting one of our workspaces or dropping in for the day, Kids Club will be available so you can get things done while your kiddos have fun. Special rates and packages available.

💕Qualified BTMI clients: Kids Club is FREE as part of your family support services!

A quick note: Kids Club is an on-site, supervised play space, not a licensed drop-off daycare. Parents and caregivers must remain on the premises and be available to feeding and bathroom needs.

But the boutique is only ONE piece of what will happen inside these walls.

The BTMI Family Support Center will be a place families can come for education, support, resources and connection through every stage of family life.

On any given week, you might find:

And sometimes you won't need a program at all.

You might just need someone to sit with you and say:

“Okay. What's going on? Let's figure out what you need.”

That's what we're building.

Not just offices.

Not just a boutique.

A place for families to have a village.

🌱 And just like the families we serve, we'll grow. Not every program or service will be available from day one. Programs, groups and workshops will be introduced as we're able to offer them safely and sustainably, and they'll continue to grow based on the needs of our community.

And we're only on Day 2. 👀

Come Inside the BTMI Family Support Center

Day #1: BLESSINGS BOUTIQUE

Let's start right inside the front door!

Blessings Boutique will be our baby, kids & maternity resale boutique — and my hope is simple:

✨ A luxurious shopping experience without the price tag.

Families will know they can check Blessings Boutique first for affordable clothing, shoes, maternity items, baby gear, toys, books and more from pregnancy through childhood.

And there are lots of ways to be part of it:

SHOP affordable, gently loved items
CONSIGN the things your family has outgrown
DONATE items to help other families
RENT A VENDOR SPACE to sell products from your small business

But Blessings Boutique has an even bigger purpose.

When a family is facing a crisis, BTMI will be able to help with practical needs quickly. Families, social workers, law enforcement, foster parents and other professionals can reach out when someone suddenly needs clothing, baby supplies, hygiene products or other essentials.

We'll also prepare support packages for situations like postpartum, new babies, unexpected foster placements and other family emergencies so families have what they need, when they need it.

This is a boutique for EVERY family. 💛

🏡 WE'RE BUILDING THE VILLAGE.

Okay... it's time to finally make this official.

Beyond Trauma Mama Inc is opening the BTMI Family Support Center in early 2027.

Yep. We're doing it. 🩷
We are at the VERY beginning. We have a goal location we're working toward, a whole lot of planning happening behind the scenes, and plenty of work ahead of us.
And instead of disappearing for months and coming back when everything is perfect...

I'm bringing you along for all of it.

The BTMI Family Support Center will become the physical home for Beyond Trauma Mama Inc., Blessings Boutique, our family support programs, kids spaces, survivor support, classes, groups, community resources and so much more.
We're building a place based around one simple idea:

Families need a village.

I want you to walk through our doors and feel like you just walked into your aunt's or best friend's house.

Come in.
Let the kids play.
Get what you need.
We've got you.

Over the next two weeks, I'm going to introduce you to the different pieces of the Family Support Center.

And after that?
You're coming along for the journey.
The wins. The planning. The location updates. The behind the scenes work. The setbacks. The decorating. The building. All of it.
You're going to get to watch this place go from a big dream in my heart to doors opening.
