June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and as we head into Father’s Day weekend, we want to take a moment to recognize the dads whose journeys to fatherhood have been marked by infertility, pregnancy loss, baby loss, and grief.
While Father’s Day can be a joyful celebration for many, it can also be an incredibly difficult weekend for fathers who are carrying heartbreak that often goes unseen.
The dads who are grieving the baby they never had the chance to meet.
The dads who feel the pressure to stay strong for everyone else while struggling themselves.
The dads navigating pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, infertility, or difficult family-building decisions in silence.
The dads mourning the version of fatherhood they once envisioned.
The truth is that fathers grieve too. They experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and profound loss, yet their pain is often overlooked or minimized. Grief does not discriminate, and healing conversations must include dads.
To every father carrying a heavy heart this weekend:💙 We see you.
💙 Your grief matters.
💙 Your mental health matters.
💙 You deserve support, too.
If you’re a dad who needs support, please know you don’t have to carry this alone. That’s one of the reasons we proudly partner with SAD DADS CLUB, an incredible community and resource created specifically for fathers navigating pregnancy loss, baby loss, and grief. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can hear is from another dad who truly understands.
As we honor fathers this weekend, let’s also remember the dads whose children are deeply loved, deeply missed, and forever part of their story.
