Sharing God’s unconditional Love through AGAPE! Everyone at ARMi has a heart to help others. Our mission sprung up in 2018 after the completion of a very successful community development project in Bombay Beach CA. Facing new challenges, our focus narrowed to become a volunteer service corps dedicated to helping seniors and the disabled make much needed health and Safety repairs to thier homes in the economically challenged California Desert town. Outreach and ministry were nearly always compliments of this small group- quite often to be found down on the shore of the Salton Sea leading worship and praising the Creator in an open-air bascilica created for just this purpose. Upon incorporation in California as a 501c3 organization, Agape Restoration Management Inc became ARMi and the service corps became the ARMiMEN. Our mission expanded at this time to create “tiny homes” and reach out to single fathers to provide an affordable and safe housing option that can be located as close to their families as possible. AGAPEVILLE
A not too distant goal of ARMi is the “AGAPEVILLE” community project. In it’s purest form, a koinonia approach to housing assistance for single fathers who seek the support and edification of others in the same situation. Approximately 40-50 tiny homes would be artfully arranged on a 5+ acre property that is central to transportation hubs and support services. Residents would be required to maintain their own homes that are leased from ARMi but the community would share the maintenance and upkeep of the common property as well as host weekly Bible studies and 12 step meetings. A communal center would house a ECE (Early Childhood Education) resource, An internet portal, a postal box center, a large common room as well as a management office. Parking would be limited to residents only and traffic would be controlled by a perimeter boundary and a resident access security gate.
