Sunflower Society Sacramento joined “Run the Line,” a global solidarity run supporting Ukraine’s 1st Azov Corps and Lotus Fund. Around 20 participants, including members of Sacramento Run Club “Beautiful People,” ran 3K to raise funds for medical support and rehabilitation programs for veterans’ children in Ukraine.

It was a warm, loving, and inspiring community effort filled with support, unity, and good energy. 💙💛 Thank you to everyone who showed up, ran, donated, and stood together in solidarity with Ukraine. Every step, every contribution, and every kind word truly matters.

April 24 - we gathered in the Rose Garden at the State Capitol.
For peace. For Ukraine. For each other.

Spring all around us, but the reason that brought us there:
To stand together. To remember. To support.

The war goes on.
And so do we.

For POWs still waiting to come home.
For the abducted children who must be returned to their families.
For the defenders who need to feel they are not alone.

To everyone who showed up - thank you.
Your support means everything.

October Ukrainian Night was hosted by Trinity Life Center.

Abe Daniel, senior pastor, who wasn’t able to attend due to some circumstances passed an online welcome word of wisdom and encouragement.

Prayers for Ukrainian victory, Ukrainian defenders, volunteers and medics, for those who lost family members, refugees, POWs, civilian hostages and abducted children, Ukrainian and American governments and for Israel were followed by Sunflower Society’ short report on situation with Abducted Ukrainian Children. Sunflower society is encouraging to call your representatives and ask to cosponsor H.R. 564 Return of Abducted Ukrainian Children.

Beside prayers we were blessed by beautiful music by Anatoliy Matviychuck and Roman Tarantsov.

Ukrainian Federal Credit Union and Ukrainian American House were present at event and offered help and assistance to everyone in need.

Ukrainian Night is a monthly event by Stephan Skots, Svitlana Iotko and Sunflower Society where church and community leaders can unite in prayer and working on projects to benefit local communities and Ukraine.
