At Trivium Life Services, our mission is simple: Creating Hope. Empowering Lives. Inspiring Communities.

For more than 50 years, Trivium Life Services has been rooted in Iowa’s communities, providing trusted support for individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, and brain injuries. We serve those who are looking for help but haven’t yet had their needs met. Trivium has a long history of empowering those with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, chronic mental illness,

and brain injuries towards independence through residential and day habilitation services. Along with our partner organizations Averte and Arbor Family Counseling, we also offer behavioral health services, specializing in substance use disorder treatment, employee assistance programs, and domestic violence counseling. Whether you are seeking behavioral health services or long-term support, our holistic approach will help you reach your goals. Life can be difficult, but you don’t have to face it alone; we at Trivium Life Services are here to help and support you.

💙 A Special Shout-Out to Adam, program client in Atlantic! 💙

At Trivium Life Services, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference and recently, one of our clients in Atlantic demonstrated exactly that.

After returning home from swimming at the YMCA, Adam noticed an elderly woman who appeared confused and in distress. Realizing she may have needed help, Adam quickly took action. He invited her inside to ensure she was safe and called 911 for assistance.

While waiting for emergency responders and law enforcement to arrive, Adam offered her a drink and shared an extra meal that was available at the house. Seeing that she was upset and shaking, he did everything he could to provide comfort and reassurance.

Thanks to Adam's quick thinking and compassion, responders were able to identify the woman, locate her family, and safely reunite them. Law enforcement even thanked Adam for stepping in and doing the right thing.

Adam's actions are a wonderful example of empathy, responsibility, and caring for others in our community. We are incredibly proud of him and the positive difference he made during a difficult moment.
