Sahaba Initiative Sahaba Initiative aims to develop healthy individuals and families through social services and community efforts.

Sahaba Initiative was founded in March 2010 by local youth alongside the guidance of professionals. The initial phase began as small support group for individuals suffering from various personal and social ills. It then expanded to serving the local community though efforts such as; mentor ship, and social services.

At Sahaba Initiative’s Annual Luncheon, Sister Hina Khan-Mukhtar shared a powerful reminder: when we support programs like Rufayda’s Housing and invest in families, we’re helping build stability, dignity, and stronger communities for generations to come.

It’s time to rethink how we see community organizations—not simply as charity, but as an investment in all of us.

Today, Sahaba Initiative opened the doors to our Community Choice Pantry! 💚

Families can now choose the fresh food, essentials, and items that best meet their needs—creating a more dignified and empowering experience.

 ⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
 📍 In-Person + Virtual
 💵 $125 for all 5 sessions
 🤍 Fee waivers available

Sessions are led by a licensed therapist.
