Until Such Time We are a non-profit animal sanctuary located in Lakeland, Florida. Until Such Time has a goal to meet the needs of animals who need re-homed.

Our job is to facilitate care, training, and a place to stay for the pups before they find their forever home.

Rafa is ready for his next chapter. ❤️

After getting healthy, this sweet boy is finally ready to find a home of his own. He’s affectionate, charming, and still figuring out the whole being an inside dog thing. We’re working on his house manners, so he’ll need a little patience while he learns the ropes.

Rafa would love to be your only pet—or possibly share his home with a very tolerant female dog. Older kids would be best; high-energy chaos can make him nervous.

He’s a good boy with a lot of love to give. He just needs a home that will help him settle in, feel safe, and learn that the couch is for relaxing.

While Cash was learning the ropes this weekend, Dexter was acting like a seasoned professional. 😂

He already has his FastCAT Beginner title, so he knew exactly what to do… And had a blast doing it!

But the best part wasn’t watching him run. It was seeing how confidently he handled everything around him.

For a dog who has come so far with resource guarding and reactivity, weekends like this are a pretty big deal.

We couldn’t be prouder of this guy. ❤️🐾

Cash got to try his paw at FastCAT this weekend! 🐾💨

He wasn’t exactly a natural, but he caught on pretty quickly and once he figured out he was supposed to chase the “bunny,” he was all about it. 😂

He may have enjoyed the running, but he enjoyed making new friends and socializing even more.

Cash is still looking for his forever home: a family who will keep his brain busy, give him things to do, and let him continue discovering just how much fun life can be.

Meet Bayla. ❤️

At eight years old, Bayla has already experienced one of the hardest things a dog can go through: being left behind by the people she thought were her family.

She originally came to us because we were told her owner’s health was declining and he could no longer care for her. We later learned that her family was going through a divorce, and ultimately, neither person was able to keep her.

Whatever the circumstances, the end result was the same.

Bayla needed somewhere to go.

And now this sweet Great Dane is looking for somewhere to stay for the rest of her life.

Bayla is a gentle, affectionate girl who would be perfectly happy spending her days close to her people and her evenings stretched out on a comfortable couch.

She has been an only dog for quite some time, so she may prefer being the center of attention. That said, she could potentially share a home with a calm, steady dog who isn’t interested in making her life complicated.

She’s social with older children, but her size makes young kids a little tricky. Bayla doesn’t need to be trying to knock anyone over to accomplish it—she’s a Great Dane. Sometimes just existing near you is enough. 😂

What she needs now is simple: a stable home, a comfortable couch, and someone who isn’t going anywhere.

After eight years of life, Bayla shouldn’t have to wonder where she belongs.

She’s ready to find out what it feels like to be home. ❤️

🚨 RAFA IS SAFE — NOW HE NEEDS US. 🚨

Meet Rafa.

Rafa was found in truly rough shape. He was severely dehydrated, covered in fleas and ticks, extremely underweight, and in need of immediate veterinary care. His testing also revealed that he is heartworm positive.

But the important part?

He’s safe now. ❤️

Rafa has a long road ahead of him, and we’re going to be there for every step of it. Our focus right now is getting him healthy, comfortable, parasite-free, and on the road to recovery.

We are good on food right now, so if you’d like to help Rafa, monetary donations toward his veterinary care are what we need most.

Every dollar helps cover the care this boy desperately needs—from diagnostics and treatment to getting those heartworms under control.

🐾 Rafa survived whatever got him here. Now let’s make sure he gets the chance to see what comes next.
