Christian Youth Film Society The Christian Youth Film Festival is held in March every year.

Christian Youth Film Society is a Bakersfield non-profit organization, tasked with the mission to encourage and equip young people to create excellent visual stories filled with faith, hope, and love. Youth make their movies about almost anything, then arrive at the gala festival in ball gowns and tuxedos, walk the red carpet, and become the 'stars' for a few minutes. Trophies, giant checks, papparazzi, and adoring fans complete the atmosphere at the Majestic Fox Theater in dowtown Bakersfield, CA. Judges include industry professionals who share our vision to equip and encourage teeenagers to make wholesome and inspiring films.
