Horizons at the University of Mississippi, an affiliate of Horizons National, is a 6-week summer learning program that offers underserved students from the Oxford and Lafayette County School Districts a variety of academics, enrichment, and recreation, including swimming lessons. The program operates on the University of Mississippi campus and utilizes a variety of campus and community resources t

o provide students with a diverse range of experiences throughout the summer. The goal of the Horizons program is to eliminate summer learning loss among each of its students, and encourage academic growth.
