We are celebrating our newest recipient of the Candy Carlisle Derivaux Memorial Scholarship, Cate Drane.

I am a rising senior Luckyday and Honors student, pursuing a double major in Honors Public Policy Leadership and Public Health & Health Sciences, all while on the pre-med track. Being awarded the Candy Carlisle Derivaux Scholarship holds deep personal significance for me, as Candy Carlisle Derivaux and my mother shared a special bond as sorority sisters in the late ‘80s and ‘90s. This generous scholarship will greatly support my journey toward becoming a physician, especially as I prepare to apply to medical school and explore post-graduate opportunities. I am truly honored and grateful to receive this recognition.

We are proud to announce the recipient of this years scholarship, Erin Crawford, PC 21!

I’m a rising senior from Clarksville, TN. I am an exercise science major and will begin applying to physical therapy schools this summer. On campus, I am currently involved with the Honors College, Ole Miss Big Event, Special Olympics, and previously served as an Orientation Leader. Receiving the Candy Carlisle Derivaux Scholarship is a huge honor and will help support me as I finish the last year of my undergraduate studies.

Candy would be beyond proud of Mattie Carlyle receiving her white coat on Thursday evening. Her orientation and beginning of medical school began earlier this week. She is thrilled to fulfill her dream of becoming a future doctor. Wishing her all the best in this new journey!

Congratulations to this years recipient, Lilly Drane!

I am a junior Communication Sciences and Disorders major on the pre-Med track with aspirations of becoming a Otolaryngologist. Receiving the Candy Carlisle Derivaux Scholarship award is extremely special to me as Candy Carlisle Derivaux and my mother were sorority sisters at Nu Beta during the late 80s and early 90s. This scholarship will help further my educational aspirations of one day becoming a physician. And I am truly honored to receiving an award in Candy’s name.
