Sam is originally from Utica, New York and graduated from UVA in 2021. This summer Sam will be heading to Charlotte to work in civil defense litigation!

When she’s not in the law library, you can find her taking spin or pilates classes, hiking, or cooking 💙

Before starting law school, Kim graduated from UVM and worked as a transportation data analyst.

In addition to RWL, Kim is involved in the Sexuality & Gender Alliance, National Lawyer’s Guild, Law & Business Forum, and UR Law Review.

Outside of law school Kim can be found exploring the local coffee scene and being a cat mother to 🐱

Laney worked as a paralegal in Washington DC for two years before starting law school, and is headed to Boston for her upcoming 2L summer!

When she’s not hard at work in the law school, you can find Laney knitting and playing with her new kitten, Crumb! 🐈
