January 8, 2024 Honduras brigade: “We spent day one at a school in the community helping hand out medication and aiding doctors with consultations. All the volunteers who we worked along side with are members of the community and it was amazing to be able to talk to them and help them with giving medical care to their community. On days 2 and 3 we traveled to another community where we were able to continue to aid in giving medical care such as dental cleanings and extractions along with teaching kids how to properly brush their teeth and wash their hands. On day 4 we went back to the community from day one and had a research day where we were able to go in to community members homes. We helped asked the residents survey questions on how they felt about GB brigades and if they felt the care was important to their health and the health of their families.”
