Penn State Habitat for Humanity

Penn State Habitat for Humanity Welcome to The Pennsylvania State University Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter! Building homes and building hope since 1990.

Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, a couple who envisioned a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Thanks in no small part to the personal involvement of U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn and the awareness they have raised, Habitat now works in nearly 1,400 communities across the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries and

has helped 9.8 million people achieve strength, stability and independence through safe, decent and affordable shelter. The Pennsylvania State University Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter was founded in 1990 by a group of Penn State students who saw the limitless potential of their peers and what they can bring to the table to uphold the vision of Habitat for Humanity. "Every lion needs a den, and every family needs a home."
