Hi Boulevard Alumni and Friends!
My name is Mayuri Purani and I am the new Donor and Alumni Relations chair for the 2025 - 2026 academic year! Boulevard went through new Executive Board elections and a transition period during the months of March and April. In the upcoming newsletter, we will highlight the new board! Since I’ll be a new liaison between you and Boulevard at Penn State, I wanted to introduce myself! I am currently a junior, so next year I will be graduating (I am already so sad thinking about it). I am studying Psychology on the Business track with certificates in Diversity Studies, Smeal College of Business Fundamentals, and the Presidential Leadership Academy. I am from Chatham, NJ, have a little brother, and am proud to be a lifelong Penn State fan since both of my parents met and fell in love here! I am a Liberal Arts Peer Advisor, Family Ambassador for the Parents Program, member of Kappa Alpha Pi, a DC Social Justice Fellow, in the Presidential Leadership Academy, and work in the Arts Ticket Center. But most importantly, I love traveling, spending time with my loved ones, eating really good food, and attending concerts whenever possible. I have been a general member of Boulevard since my first semester freshman year and have loved every second of it! I have made incredible friends through this organization and they made experiencing THON so much more meaningful. I am so excited to serve on the Executive Board for the rest of my time at Penn State and be a resource for all of our favorite alumni (you all!) to stay up to date on Boulevard’s accomplishments and events. I’ll be popping back into your feed in a few days for a February and March recap post, but until then, enjoy these pictures of me and THON with Boulevard over the last three years :)
